In the past, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Hochiminh City has organized many events to introduce Thai cuisine, especially Thai Street food to Vietnamese people such as "Amazing Thai Taste: Thai Food Festival "at Royal Hotel Hội An M Gallery by Sofitel," Thai Licious "at Le Meridien Saigon Hotel, Thai Cuisine Week at Park Royal, Thai Cooking Class at Royal Thai Consulate General.
With the aim of extending the popularity of Thai Street food to a large number of Vietnamese people and foreigners, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City is honored to organize Thai Street Food event under the name: "Zap'Ver Thai Street Food" on Tuesday, 18:00 September 11, 2018 at the Royal Thai Consulate- General, Address: 77 Trần Quốc Thảo, Ward 7, District 3. Attending the event, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the most famous street foods and drinks of Thailand from 10 Thai restaurants located in Vietnam and especially enjoy the unique street style performances. The Thai Street Food with the complexity of flavors, taste along with traditional culture from different regions of Thailand will surely bring you unforgettable experiences.
More specifically, on this occasion, the Consulate General is honored to introduce to the distinguished guests Street Food Application by Thailand Foundation for the first time ever. The Street Food application provides information of more than 120 local restaurants, food stalls in Thailand with over 25 dishes, are easily available, delicious, and locally famous. The app is linked with map, which will give clear directions and distances from the users’ location to the desired destination. Addresses of shops and stalls are available in Thai for the users’ convenience if they choose to travel via taxis or other modes of public transport.
